Every Day: Lyons Redstone Museum  
340 High Street.
The town's old schoolhouse, built in 1881, depicts the history of Lyons in displays, photos, and genealogy, as well as a gift shop and book sale.
Also, take a tour of the Lyons Historic District, which consists of fifteen sandstone buildings, built from 1880-1932, for a drive-by history tour. Pick up a brochure at the museum. Website - click here
Every Saturday: Lyons Outdoor Market  
An outdoor market featuring a large variety of artists, gourmet food and unique retailers every Saturday to October 10th at 446 Main St. between St. Vrain Pharmacy and Cilantro Mary's. More info at http://www.lyonsoutdoormarket.com
Every Sunday: Farmette Farmers Market  
Noon until 6:00 every Sunday In front of the Lyons Farmette on Hwy 36 by the antique tractor. The Lyons Farmette will be joined by some other local farms and will be selling veggies, eggs, starter plants and flowers. It doesn't get more local and organic than this!

WHERE: 1908 Apple Valley Road, Lyons (head to Estes on 36, left at 2nd Apple Valley Rd sign/curved bridge, park on street and walk down the long drive)
This dance will be OUTDOORS in the shade on level grass. Water, tables and chairs provided. BYO food, drinks, water bottle.

We're joined by some other local farms ~ Aspen Moon, Lone Hawk, Schey's Bouquets, Pachamama and Black Cat. Fresh eggs, beautiful produce, veggies, and flowers. Yum! It doesn't get more local and organic than this!

Please join us and celebrate the harvest of mid-summer as chefs Chelsea and Susanna share the magic of cooking "from the field." Learn about all of the freshly picked local ingredients on the menu and how to prepare delicious seasonal dishes. Then enjoy an amazing dinner featuring the Farmette's own harvest. ~ We'll dine alfresco in the meadow of the Farmette with "chickens at our feet". $60 person includes cooking class with appetizers for snacking, recipes, and a three-course dinner. Please RSVP soon ~ spaces are limited. Final RSVP date is Friday, July 30th and your payment will hold your spot. Sorry, no refunds for cancellations after July 30th. 8th thru 12th: The Song School  
Singer-songwriters of all levels descend on the Planet Bluegrass Ranch for 4 days of workshops and classes on the art, craft, and business of songwriting, led by many of the performers at the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival. 13th thru 15th: 20th Annual Rocky Mountain Folks Festival  
Planet Bluegrass's "summit on the song" welcomes many of the world's top songwriters from all genres for three days of songs, stories, and summer along the St. Vrain River.  The historic 20th anniversary lineup includes: John Prine, Ani DiFranco, The Swell Season, Richard Thompson, Marc Cohn, Jenny Lewis, and many others.
